04/19/2012STEAG Energy Services Announces Inauguration of its SCR Catalyst Regeneration Facility's 2nd Processing Line

STEAG Energy Services is pleased to announce the inauguration of its second processing line of its state-of-the-art SCR Catalyst Regeneration facility in Kings Mountain, NC.

The additional line boosts our regeneration throughput to about 60 modules per day, thus providing our customer the additional capacity for satisfying their needs for lower cost and greener alternative catalyst regeneration compared to new catalyst.

The Cleveland County Chamber of Commerce and City of Kings Mountain elected officials, area dignitaries, community representatives, and the Federal Republic of Germany’s Consul General, media and our valued customers of approximately 200 people were in attendance on April 19th, 2012 for a ribbon cutting ceremony at the facility in Kings Mountain.

The attendees enjoyed guided tours of STEAG’s facility encompassing the most advanced state-of-the-art catalyst regeneration technology, which is based on more than 15 years of continuous process improvement, experience and expertise.

STEAG Energy Services’ President Hans Hartenstein stated “This is a great opportunity for our customers and local community members to experience active environmental protection first hand.” Furthermore, he is pleased with “the location, a former yarn mill and dye house complex in Kings Mountain, provides plenty of space and room for further growth. We are very excited to be here and enjoy a great relationship with the City of Kings Mountain, Cleveland County and the Charlotte Regional Partnership.”
